Does a V.92 56k modem allow for DIAL-UP, WIRELESS internet access?
Let’s say I have a laptop that has a V.92 56k internal modem. Can I use it for dial-up (not broadband), wireless internet connections? If so, does it mean I can access dial-up (not broadband) internet at ANY PLACE AT ANY TIME without plugging in my modem to the phone line socket in the wall?

No. For wireless connectiosn you need a Wi-Fi card (they cost about $20.) And, you can only access the internet via it if you are near a hotspot. See the article below.
