Hmm….those speeds seem a bit odd, are you sure you get 100Mbps and not 100 Kbps?

    ?

Yes they may say 25Mbps, 50Mbps, 100Mbps, but the actual download and upload speeds will vary, due to: the distance from their server to your Modem, the volume of traffic that is using these lines, and Your Firewall, if any…. But your download speed is almost dial-up speed, I have dial-up, @ 56K and I download at 5 to 12 Kbps.. If you are stating that the support team is saying that you get 25Mbps Download then the minimum you should be downing is MAYBE 10-12Mbps, on a high volume day….. But do remember that the ISP Companies fall back on the “Fine Print” that will say speeds “vary”, and they get by with it… Go Back and change the Properties to match the Maximum the Modem states is stable, in this case 25Mbps. Also go here, they have great help forums for High Speed Users, you also can get feedback on your ISP, and their services, Good Luck
