with a good connection probably 4 hours or more …

At full speed of 56k, it would take approx. 5 mins per MB. So 60 MB will take approx. 60 X 5 = 300 Mins.

It also depends on the speed of the computer that you're downloading from. I'd just start it up when you go to sleep and it should be done when you wake up in the morning.

In theory around 8800 seconds. More likely 10,000 seconds.
So 3-4 hours.

If you have a perfect internet connection that never slows down at all (which is rare), and you are not using the internet at the same time, then the fastest it would download in is 2.4 hours. I did the calculation right on google, check out the link below.

A VERY long time. It really depends on a couple of things, your download speed, and the speed of the server you are downloading from. If you were downloading at a constant 5.2 kbps, which you will not, i guarantee you, it would take you about 196.5 minutes.

i hav a 56k modem and the usual download rate is about 3.5 kb per sec…so it will take far longer than 4 hours maybe six…

Answer: Atleast 4-5hrs
56kbps dialup is really 53kbps and by the time you get it, its about 32kbps or 4 Kbps (kilo bytes)
60MB=60,000Kilo Bytes
so, 60,000 kilobytes / 4 kilobytes per second = 15000 seconds
1hr=3600 seconds, so 15000 seconds is about 4hrs.
